Corinthian Master Model - NIGEL CLOUGH (Liverpool FC) Unreleased 1995-96 Season

Original unreleased resin Corinthian master model of former Liverpool star Nigel Clough in Liverpool 1995-96 home kit.

This figure was due to be released in the original Corinthian Liverpool FC product line alongside the likes of Ian Rush, John Barnes, Steve McManaman and Jan Molby, however with Liverpool struggling in the league and Clough finding himself out of the team he departed Anfield in January 1996 to join Man City. This transfer meant that plans for release this figure were shelved and other master models were repainted in Man City colours.

Sadly Clough never regained the form that he showed at Nottingham Forest under his famous father, Brian, and whilst he showed scored some magical goals during his time at Liverpool, the emergence of a talented young scouser Robbie Fowler meant that he struggled for game time.

This hand-crafted master model stands at 7cm tall and is beautifully painted in what is an iconic kit for Liverpool fans. Corinthian fans will appreciate the level of detail in the paint work on this master models face and hair as well as the hand painted home kit featuring Carlsberg sponsor.

Clough's master model is accompanied by various photographs of the original Corinthian Liverpool FC release which would later feature in the very first Corinthian retail catalogue. In these Clough is conspicuous by his absence!
