Corinthian Superstars Headliners GIOCHI PREZIOSI SPORT Retailer Advert #2 (1997)

Original copy of Giochi Preziosi's 2nd advertisement - which was accompanied by a retail order form - for Corinthian Superstars Headliners football figures in Italy from 1997.

This advert is different to the original in that it promotes the coverage and publicity that Superstars Headliners has received and showcases future releases in the series second run.

There are a number of footballers mentioned on the back page of the advert who were never released as Superstars Headliners, including the likes of Crespo for Lazio and Toldo for Fiorentina as well as some that were never released like Maurizio Ganz of Inter and Pino Taglialatela of Napoli.

This full colour 4-page retail advert features all of the football figures from the range and features players from AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Fiorentina, Parma, Roma and Lazio,.

All players from the first release are pictured including Del Piero, Baresi, Batistuta, Mancini, Pagliuca and Signori with dates of release for all figures.

This advert is one large high gloss full colour printed piece of A3 paper folded into 4 pages. It would've been used to sell the range at toy shows and on retailer visits. It has holes punched into the left-hand side as this would have been part of Giochi's product sales folder. 

This is a cool piece of Italian football memorabilia and one that features the entire first run of Corinthian Serie A football figure.
