Rodri scored the all-important winning goal to crown Manchester City UEFA Champions League winners with a 1-0 win over FC Internazionale Milano.

The Spanish defensive midfielder produced the biggest moment of his City career as he struck home the decisive goal in the final. With the game level and with the tension building, Manchester City were looking for a moment of brilliance to break the stubborn FC Internazionale Milano defence. The big moment came in the 68th minute when some great play from Manuel Akanji put Silva in down the right hand side. The Portuguese star cut the ball back to the edge of the box and an onrushing Rodri hit a first-time strike into the bottom corner.
